My point of view during my subway ride a few weeks ago on my way to the Misako tea party. I have some outfit snaps I still need to post. Can’t get over the Sailor Moon bag that @mostflogged got for me. I adore it. #sailormoon #lolita
It’s @bluucircles dressing up in her #Lolita outfit for #SakuraMatsuri

So remember that time I started doing sailor senshi coordinates? Yeah, I think I only did, like, four of them. Multiples for Chibiusa, I think, so that doesn’t count. But year, I’m making it a goal to do the rest of the senshi now, so here’s Mars.
I wanted a more casual cute look for her, probably because she’s much more of a casual kind of person. She wouldn’t really take to a super fancy coordinate. And she wouldn’t want to get too cold, either, even in warmer months, so a cardigan is a must. I decided to include a lot of lavender because, even though there’s only one purple bow on her canon outfit, I think lavender and red is a lovely combination. :)
(And the conversation heart ring is a super-dweeby reference to her character song Fire Soul Love.)

This pic is from the sailor Moon themed lolita meet. I was supposed to be Usagi. I just really love this coord and picture!
For Halloween this year I’m a moon princess/goddess in my Moon Kingdom Op. It was inspired by Sailor Moon and lolita brands Chantilly and Moi Meme Moitie. The idea of this dress was kind of the moon kingdom, in between the old destroyed kingdom on the moon, and the neo-kingdom on earth—what it would be— and taking elements from the dresses of the moon princesses, which were inspired by the Greek goddess Selene.
I made this dress with some of the left over fabric from my wedding dress. It’s pretty apt since on my first date with my husband, I was dressed as human Luna, and we went to an anime convention. One reason why I went on more dates with him was because he watched Sailor Moon as a kid because he liked it. The dress is also a little Labyrinth-y, which is also apt since our first dance at our wedding was to a song from that movie.
This design will be in the shop soon. I may change the fabric to something a little easier to care for though, and the lace to a softer lace. This particular fabric is a silk/linen blend, and it tends to get snagged and clearly wrinkled/creased a bit.
