naka-kon, day 1
to celebrate the upcoming release of captain america: the winter soldier—and me scoring two tickets today for an advance screening next week—i wore my cap op!
the dress, wristcuffs, and headbow were all made by me; flower crown made by some lovely fairies at ren fest last fall.
note the aqua teen carl on the left in my full body shot…!

Here’s my latest creation - a Captain America-inspired sailor lolita dress and hat! This was fun to make, although dyeing the fabric blue was NOT fun. At least I learned a few things about dyeing fabric in the washing machine…anyways, this is my first A-line dress and I must make more since it’s more flattering on me than the cupcake shape. I’m satisfied with the dress but want to work on the coord because those shoes aren’t very loli and the socks are too big on my feet.
Notice the teeny tiny shield buttons? :D
Here’s me with some lolita Avengers, Captain America and Thor at Fresno Ani-Jam this past weekend. I’m wearing my Haenuli Little Prince dress.
