RE: This conversation: Here’s what I whipped up as an idea for NexGen!flavored Star Trek lolita. This sample is command-type and later seasons, obviously (if you can tell what the rank is without looking it up, you get a cookie.. it’s pretty easy), other colors can be substituted as needed.

A-line with a high collar and gathered sleeves. Obviously more details need to be added to loli it up a little more, I’m trying to decide if lace or a ruffle at the hem would look nice, or maybe a bow behind the Starfleet symbol would be cute, or something… Or maybe a bow on the back? Waistties?

Only problem is, I’m not a pattern maker LOL and after examining the Trek uniforms for seams and stuff it looks like a lot of complicated colorblocking. A zip up the back will probably be a must. Diana, any idea how this could be done? ;w;
